The  Office Tower  is the only three-story building. It resembles an 18th century British "counting house," or business office. The castle's clerks likely had their office on the top floor of this building where they could keep their ledgers up-to-date while observing activities going on in the castle, itself, and in the port area on the west side of the island where slave ships were arriving and departing.
